Hosts are available 24 hours a day to answer questions and assist, but will not bother you during your stay. HOUSE RULES 1. No unregistered guests are allowed. We provide makeup remover wipes for this as your makeup will stain the towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bath fully furnished house with central heat and air has a living room, a small fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, two downstairs bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with two full beds, and a bathroom with a claw foot tub. Upstairs there are two twin beds, a studio couch adequate for a child to sleep on, and a bathroom with a shower. The downstairs porch is screened in and has a hanging bed, plenty of comfortable seating, beverage frig, and ceiling fans. There is also a deck off the upstairs with chairs and loungers to relax in the evening breeze, while enjoying a beverage and viewing the stars! Enjoy our rocking chairs and deck chairs on the porches or fish from the city pier. If you are interested in booking a fishing trip let us know and we can provide information on local guides. There are great beaches within 20 miles (Magnolia Beach and Port O'Connor). Feel free to borrow beach towels and ice chest (located in utility room) for your outing. You will have full access to the house with the exception of closets which contain our personal belongings. There are games, puzzles, cards and DVDs/videos for you to enjoy as well as satellite TV and WIFI (note: Seadrift is sort of remote so service can be spotty at times). A pack 'n play and folding high chair are available for your convenience. Quite neighborhood along bay. We are the last house on the street. Even though it is a small town, you will need a car to get around Seadrift and/or between it and other towns. Water at the private fishing pier is too shallow to dock your boat. There is plenty of room in the driveway and at the front of the house for a boat/trailer. Public boat ramp is about 2 blocks from the house. No smoking in the house however there are ashtrays available on both porches. Please be sure to clean and replace them before checking out. No pets allowed. No fish cleaning or disposal of fish on the property or in the trash cans. There is a public fish cleaning station at the boat ramp just three blocks from the house. No fish frying allowed in the house. The house manual includes check in and check out instructions as well as information which will be helpful to your during your stay. Our modest but comfortable, coastal home, we've named Pelicasa (Pelican + Casa!) is located in the small fishing community of Seadrift, Texas. Get ready to leave any stress & anxiety behind as you find yourself in an environment lacking traffic jams, traffic lights, restaurant lines and full parking lots. Pelicasa is located outside of town at the end of Swan Point Road where it meets San Antonio Bay. This beautiful bay is one of the Gulf Coast’s best-kept secrets for great fishing & duck hunting. In fact, there are many well-seasoned fishing & hunting guides and guide services available in our area. There is a large concrete pad in front of our home next to the barn that will accommodate a fairly large RV or boat trailer. Our home offers sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people (including adults, teens or kids). However, please note: The nightly rate allows up to 6 people only. If your party includes 7 up to 10 people maximum, additional fees are required in order to allow for more time cleaning (changing bed linens, laundry, etc), to offset the additional wear & tear on our home (septic system, water well pump & equipment, etc) and to cover supply use (propane, drinking water, etc). The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the guest bedroom has a king sized bed and the bunk room has 3 bunk beds for a total of 6 twin sized beds. Each bathroom has a standup shower and the home has a full size washer & dryer. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and coffee maker (both Mr Coffee and Keurig) along with the basic pots, pans, dishes & utensils.
